Ms. Reape is a graduate of Duke University, and earned her law degree from the Syracuse Univeristy College of Law, cum laude. While in law school, Ms. Reape was a summer intern for the Orange County (New York) District Attorney’s Office. She was also a summer intern for the Honorable Gustave DiBianco of the Northern District of New York.

Ms. Reape is a former Suffolk County Assistant District Attorney, where she prosecuted misdemeanor and felony cases. Ms. Reape subsequently served as an Assistant County Attorney in the General Litigation Bureau of the Suffolk County Attorney’s Office, where she represented Suffolk County in State and Federal actions. Ms. Reape also worked as a Senior Attorney in the Legal Department of the Long Island Railroad Company, where she defended labor and employment matters, and provided legal advice on a regular basis on a variety of corporate issues, including labor and employment issues, corporate policy revisions, ADA, and FMLA requirements. Ms. Reape joined the firm in 2005. She represents school districts in state and federal actions and appeals, and handles administrative proceedings including matters before the EEOC and PERB. She has experience in a wide range of matters including labor and employment issues, construction litigation, competitive bidding issues, residency issues, special education matters, and employee and student disciplinary proceedings. Ms. Reape is admitted to practice in New York State Courts; the United States District Court, Eastern District of New York; and United States District Court, Southern District of New York.
