LEADING EDUCATION LAW FIRM OPENS CAPITAL DISTRICT OFFICE
Guercio & Guercio’s New Latham Office to be Led by Kathy Ahearn

For more than 50 years Guercio & Guercio LLP has been one of New York’s leading education law firms. Today, the firm announced its new Capital District office in Latham, New York is open for business.

Located in the same building as the New York State School Boards Association, the office will be led by Kathy A. Ahearn, who joined Guercio & Guercio in July 2009 as a partner. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ahearn served for 16 years as the Counsel & Deputy Commissioner for Legal Affairs for the New York State Education Department.

The Capital District office will provide clients in the Capital Region and across upstate N.Y. with access to expertise Guercio & Guercio has developed in all facets of education law, municipal law and labor law. The firm currently represents more than 50 education-related clients.
