On Wednesday, January 13, 2010, partners Richard J. Guercio, John Sheahan, Randy P. Glasser and Barbara P. Aloe conducted Guercio & Guercio, LLP's second annual Education Law conference at Hofstra University's Center for Secondary School Administrators and Supervisors. In attendance were superintendents, assistant superintendents, principals and department chairs of K-12 schools.

On Monday, December 7, 2009, Guercio & Guercio LLP partners Randy Glasser, Richard Guercio, Gary Steffanetta, Thomas Volz and associate Douglas Spencer participated as presenters and panel moderators at the Annual School Law Conference, held at the Nassau County Bar Association. This conference is presented jointly by the Nassau and Suffolk County Bar Associations' Education Law Committees, and is intended for attorneys, school board members, school district administrators, teachers and union representatives. Nassau County Tax Certiori Refund Guarantee Litigation - On October 8, 2009, the Honorable Ute Lally, Justice of the Supreme Court, Nassau County, issued a Memorandum Decision in Corbin v.
