Suffolk County Ban on Salary History

Effective June 30, 2019, Suffolk County employers with at least four employees will be prohibited from inquiring about a job applicant's wage or salary history during the hiring process. The Restricting Information
on Salaries and Earnings Act (“RISE Act”) amends Section 528-7 of the Suffolk County Human Rights Law.  Guercio & Guercio, LLP clients may access the entire memorandum in the client portal.
