Eric Levine

Eric Levine is a Partner in the firm's Long Island office in Farmingdale, New York. His practice focuses on providing general and labor counsel to various municipalities, including school districts, water districts, fire companies, and libraries.  Mr. Levine has extensive experience in matters involving labor and employment law, collective bargaining, special education and civil rights laws, school district election law, student discipline and residency issues, and governmental investigations. Mr. Levine has successfully represented clients in both State and Federal courts, grievance arbitrations, employee disciplinary proceedings, Commissioner of Education appeals, and other administrative proceedings before the U.S. Department of Education, U.S. Equal Opportunity Commission, the New York State Education Department, and the New York State Division of Human Rights.

Mr. Levine earned his B.A. in English, Literature and Rhetoric from SUNY Binghamton, and is a graduate of St. John's University School of Law, where he graduated cum laude and served as a Senior Staff Member of the Law Review. During law school, he worked as a research assistant for a leading scholar on consumer law, while also volunteering his time working for the New York City Police Department and the New York City Unified Court System. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, Mr. Levine was an associate at a corporate defense firm specializing in personal injury litigation for Fortune 500 companies, where he gained experience in all aspects of litigation.
