Gregory A. Gillen

Mr. Gillen is a 2005 graduate of SUNY Stony Brook and a 2009 graduate of Touro College, Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center where he earned his J.D., cum laude, and served as an Articles Editor for the Touro Law Review. Since graduating from law school, Mr. Gillen has practiced extensively in the areas of Education/Municipal Law and Public Sector Labor Relations. He has represented various public-sector employers throughout the state in grievance arbitrations, General Municipal Law Section 207-c arbitrations, compulsory interest arbitrations, Civil Service Law Section 75 and Education Law Section 3020-a disciplinary proceedings, collective bargaining, matters before the New York State Public Employment Relations Board, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the New York State Division of Human Rights, the New York State Unemployment Insurance Appeal Board, and proceedings in both State and Federal Court. Mr. Gillen is one of the contributors for the New York State Bar Association's treatise “Lefkowitz on Public Sector Labor and Employment Law, Fourth Edition.” He has also had the honor of being named to Super Lawyers® Rising Stars list for the New York Metro area in the field of Schools & Education Law for three consecutive years.
