Mr. Berris graduated cum laude from University of Miami School of Law, earning his Juris Doctor in 2022. Upon graduation, Mr. Berris served as an Assistant District Attorney at the Office of the District Attorney of Bronx County where he prosecuted both misdemeanor and violent felony crimes under the New York State Penal Law and Vehicle and Traffic Law – taking several of his cases to verdict after jury trials.
At the firm, Mr. Berris is a member of the Education & Municipal Law, Civil Rights Law and Litigation practice groups, where he represents school districts and municipalities in a wide range of employment, civil rights, contract, and tort matters throughout New York State.
