On April 1, 2015, the Legislature passed the 2015-2016 State Budget, including the Education, Labor and Family Assistance Article VII budget bill (S. 2006-B/A. 3006-B). The Education Transformation Act of 2015 (“Act”), found in Section 2 of the legislation, makes significant changes relating to probationary appointments, tenure, APPR and teacher discipline.
